Designed for mobile journalists, presenters, videographers, podcasters, and vloggers, the BOYA BY-WFM12 is a camera-mount VHF wireless omni lavalier wireless microphone system great for shooting videos with clear audio for Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. It offers a simple-to-use solution to record dialogue, interviews, and speech directly to a mirrorless/DSLR camera, an iOS/Android smartphone/tablet with a 3.5mm headphone jack, a desktop/laptop computer, or an audio recorder.

With an omnidirectional lavalier microphone, a bodypack transmitter, a camera-mount receiver, two 3.5mm cables for connection to cameras and smartphones, mounting accessories, and a carry case, the BY-WFM12 has everything you need for seamless audio integration into your video production setup. The compact bodypack transmitter features two 3.5mm mic inputs, enabling you to simultaneously use both the lavalier mic and another microphone, for two-person interviews (second microphone available separately).

The compact receiver comes with a shoemount adapter that attaches to your camera. It features a volume-control wheel to quickly adjust the recording level. The receiver is also equipped with a 3.5mm headphone output, great for real-time monitoring of your mic when your camera does not have a headphone jack.

The system operates at a range of 130' with detachable antennas capable of 360° rotation to optimize signal reception. It offers 12 selectable VHF frequencies that provide options for finding a clear channel in case of signal interference. The transmitter and receiver feature locking connections to eliminate unintended cable disconnects and they both run on two AA batteries.
